Devcon International Corp. is a publicly held corporation and through Devcon Security Services Corp. operates the second largest electronic security services business in Florida. Devcon also has operations in New York City and Staten Island, New York and is the 14th largest security services business in the United States as rated by Security Distributing and Marketing (SDM).

The company provides services and related products to over 140,000 sites monitored including residential homes, financial institutions, industrial and commercial businesses and complexes, warehouses, facilities of government departments and healthcare and educational facilities. Through the security services division, it engages in the electronic monitoring of its installed base of security systems, as well as the installation of new, monitored security systems in both residential and commercial buildings.

Since 2004, Devcon has acquired and integrated the electronic security services assets of Adelphia Security, Guardian International and Coastal Security, in addition to making several tuck-in acquisitions.
